About 1,000 employees of the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Factory reportedly held a protest a few days ago. An employee of the factory told Meydan TV that the reason for the rally was the delay in salaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The employment contract states that salaries must be paid from the 1st to the 15th of the month. The factory has a total of 1,300 employees, and some of them were paid on the 15th of the month. The rest are still waiting [for the payment].<\/p>he said on condition of anonymity<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
According to him, 1,000 workers at the factory protested for two days in a row. He also noted that SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) was informed about their problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
