Russian companies sent 14 requests to the Azerbaijani government to get permission to operate projects in Karabakh, as Russia’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mixael Bocharnikov said in a press briefing. According to him, Russian companies introduced different proposals for projects in Karabakh.
Most of them are contractors. But there are also ones who came up with investment projects in agriculture and heavy industry.

According to Bocharnikov, Russia is interested in realization of projects, such as production of railway equipment and construction materials and farms, in Azerbaijan.
“Opportunities for Russia’s involvement in modernization and construction of energy sources in Azerbaijan are being discussed.”
