Azerbaijan starts supplying natural gas to Khankendi (Stepanakert – Arm) and other surrounding settlements on March 28. This was reported on the official Facebook page of Azerigas, Azerbaijan’s state gas company.
It was noted that tests will be carried out first, and in this regard, consumers are advised to be careful when using natural gas, to strictly follow safety rules.
“After the completion of the tests on March 29, the supply of natural gas in the territory of the Karabakh economic region will be fully restored.”
Gas issue in Karabakh: On March 8, most of Nagorno-Karabakh, including Khankendi, was left without heat. The Azerbaijani side repaired the gas pipeline on March 16. Azerigas claimed that the problem in the gas distribution lines arose due to the operation without maintenance for many years, adding that it sent employees to the area to take necessary measures to eliminate the accident.
