The Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan has launched a social project named “Clean Statue”. Anar Karimov, the minister, reported about this in his Twitter account, saying that the project aims to clean the monuments in the country.
The Ministry of Culture, with the support of the Baku Landscaping and Youth Foundation, is launching a social project “Clean Statue” dedicated to the International Day of Monuments & Historic Places on April 18. As part of the project, the statues in our country will be cleaned. We invite everyone to join this project”.

In his post Karimov also noted that the project will kick off on April 18 with the cleaning of the statue of poet Khurshudbanu Natavan.
