Bolt Food courier.

In Baku, couriers of Bolt Food delivery company held a protest rally against their low payments. The couriers gathered in front of the company’s Baku office and expressed their concerns through live streaming on social media.

The price of orders was reduced from 2.50-3 manats to 1 manat and 10 qepiks. We get 350-360 manats for every 100 orders, we pay 137 manats in taxes and it does not satisfy us. They have started blocking the accounts of some employees and said that they will be unblocked only if they increase the balance by 50 manats. However, the system has not been restored.

According to the protestors, they work under difficult conditions.

Someone powerful riding on a Jeep opens his door, insults a courier, slams and kicks, beats up. Then people say we ride the bikes badly.
