The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has issued a statement, claiming that the Armenian army has concentrated artillery and additional personnel on the positions facing the Azerbaijani army.
According to the statement, in the second half of the day on October 16, it was observed that the Armenian Armed Forces gathered additional personnel and 4 artillery units with military vehicles to their positions opposing the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces located in the direction of Dashkasan district of Azerbaijan.
Additionally, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense has declared that the military and political leadership of Armenia is fully responsible for the tension that may arise.
What happened previously: Armenian side released a statement that the Azerbaijani army opened fire on units of the Armenian armed forces on October 16. The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan denied that news.
